In any case, the month of January was full of birthdays for our family (and a few friends), but I only managed to get one good picture. However, that will have to wait until further down the page, because guess what? Getting the right pictures in the right place sometimes gets the best of me.
Our grandson, Will, is playing Upward basketball this year. The following pics are of his very first game. See how well he guards his own dribble? Pretty terrific for a first-grader, eh?
His Papa took these pictures (if I had taken them they'd be too blurry), and they're better than average if you ask me :) Good shot, Will! What a leap! Keep it up, and you'll be playing with the pros someday. That is, of course, if you want to. Papa and I are very proud of you.
Papa had a birthday in January, and I took the pictures. Hmmm.......sorry I didn't get a good one of the special cake his daughter and the grandkids made for him. It sure was yummy though, and we had fun celebrating his special day. Fortunately, there was one picture that turned out pretty good (I think I'm going to have to take a photography class or have someone else take the pictures for me). I'm sure Papa will cherish this picture of his night-night love from Lincoln, for many years to come. What a little sweatheart, and he sure does love his Papa.
Well, I think that's about it, or as much as my mind will let me remember anyway. Hopefully, I'll get right on February's highlights before March is here. Good grief! That's only twelve days away! Guess I'd better get crack-a-lackin! Thanks for sharing, Corinna Jean :)
By the way, Corinna's hubby celebrated his birthday in January too. As well as, my brother, our daughter-in-law, a cousin, another good friend, and of course, my Daddy - who is celebrating every day of the year, because he's in heaven with Jesus. I miss you, Daddy, but I'm happy for you to be where you are, and I know you are NOW feeling good all the time. And I thank God for that!
